During Brian's carousel story about knowing "when to get off", he mentions hopping off the carousel as Jason takes cover from gunfire. He then mentions his friend staying on and dying as Lucia loads her pistol. Perhaps implying that Lucia dragging Jason into more and more danger than he wants?
