For the first time in GTA I’m going to spend time just walking around
Previous titles gave you little incentive to walk. If you were on foot you were either running to a nearby destination or just hoofing it til you found a car to jack. You may bump into NPCs and get some reaction, you may punch, stab, or shoot a few randos who cross your path, but you had little reason to just slow down and take in your surroundings. It all felt flat and a bit boring to not be traveling a hundred MPH or be causing mayhem. Now, my first instinct will not be to jump in a car to explore the map or start shooting into crowds to provoke a chase. I’m just gonna explore neighborhoods
