Andrés de León: San Andreas → Leonida
I doubt Rockstar would name the state Leonida after [Ponce] de León, then also introduce a character actually named Andrés de León without some reason for it. What makes it even better is that Andrés and Andreas are basically the same name, so his full name ends up sitting right between San Andreas and Leonida. He’s also introduced flying into Leonida to meet Jason and Lucia, with Valentina who is a returning GTA Online (San Andreas) character who was introduced at LSIA, connecting them. Could just be a neat coincidence, but it lines up well enough that I wouldn’t be surprised if it was intent
