The opening sequence was cut more than you think
Disclaimer: This is not a nitpick, I'm just pointing out that a portion of the mission was cut specifically for the extended look, which is NOT a bad thing. There is another, almost imperceptible, cut in the sequence inside the Venture Apartments. After the shooting starts, it might seem like Jason and Lucia run back into the elevator through the exact same door they used a few minutes earlier. However, the cutscene doesn't happen immediately after the cinematic killcam because it actually takes place on a different floor.
