My gear shifter runs GTA VI's boot animation, made from a recycled smartwatch and tablet
Saw the GTA VI trailer play on my dashboard and couldn't resist testing something. This is my Audi A4 (2001), and that gear knob isn't stock. It's a smartwatch I had lying around, embedded into a custom-built shifter, repurposed to show gear position and now, apparently, GTA VI boot screens too. The dash display is an old tablet I rescued and mounted into the car's original multimedia slot. Nothing here was bought specifically for this, just parts I already had and didn't want to throw away. Wasn't planning on this crossover, but the timing was too good not to share.
